The world is obsessed with facebook

As of 2011, there are 500,000,00 active facebook users. A short video called The World Is Obsessed with Facebook denounces how people today use Facebook. It is said that 48% of 18 to 34 year olds check Facebook right when they wake up. There are 206.2 million internet users in the U.S that means 71,2% of the U.S. web audience is on facebook. Moreover, 57% of people talk more online than they do in real life. This means that over half the population choose to talk over internet rather than having a real life conversation. 48% of young Americans said they find out about news through facebook, meaning that if they didn’t use facebook, they might not know about what’s going on in the world.
